The problem with teen pregnancy is that most people are afraid to offend them. It’s become such a big thing because people are encouraging those getting pregnant. Majority of the time teen pregnancy isn’t even planned. So basically why are you congratulating them? For making a mistake? That’s so stupid. You’re praising a pregnancy that wasn’t even planned. That’s the problem. That’s why teens these days think it’s totally okay to get pregnant because it’s becoming socially acceptable. It’ll just get worse. In the future, how would you like it if 9 year olds were getting pregnant here and there? You’re just gunna praise them? “Oh you’ve only been in this world for less than a decade, and you’re already pregnant! Congratulations.” I mean, I’m not trying to offend anyone. Let’s be real, you know that’s true.

You have a tumblr, obviously. Have you not seen what people post on here? People just like you, talking shit about other people they know nothing about except for the fact that they are pregnant teens. You’re just feeding to the stereotype, but you’re not the only one so don’t think that, because lots of people on here “offend” pregnant teens.

So what if a pregnancy isn’t planned? Many married people get pregnant on accident. Should those people not be congratulated about their new child either? That’s stupid. & Just because a pregnancy isn’t planned doesn’t mean that the baby is a mistake either. No human life is a mistake.

No teenager gets pregnant because it’s “socially acceptable”. It’s really not. You don’t know all the bad looks pregnant teen girls get when they’re out. Some even have people come up to them & make rude comments (thankfully, I’ve never had that). And we have to deal with all this social media bullshit that people like you post putting down pregnant teens. So trust me, it’s really not “socially acceptable” for teens to be pregnant. It’s not even socially common.

You don’t know how hard it is to go through each day being put down because of you age, & everyone believe you’re not different than the stereotype (that you’re just going to live off welfare & go off partying every night & you’re parents are gonna be raising your kid & your kids gonna end up in jail or in gang -i’ve heard it all). No one is encouraging teens to get pregnant, but why would you not congratulate someone on taking on the responsiblity of a new life being brought into this world? Is it more socially acceptable for me to get pregnant, abort my baby, & go on living a “normal” teenage life? If so, then fuck being socially acceptable because that is something I will NEVER EVER DO.
